This week I participated in a seminar on viral marketing. The speaker commented on how it was hard to get a lot of views on amateur uploaded videos on youtube. After a quick "hands up" in the auditorium, it became apparent that I was the only one who had experienced over 100 views on an uploaded video. The speaker looked at me and said: "200?", I nodded. "300?", I nodded. "400?", I nodded. "Ok so how many?" "2200!" I said. The speaker was impressed but didnt ask me what the video was about. And I figured that it didnt matter. So when I told a friend later about this today, he said "OMG the speaker probably thought you uploaded porn. Why else would you have so many views?" Well I didnt. The video is actually increadibly innocent, although according to the commentary section it can get people wired up. You can view it here. Be sure to also check out my video response here.
